Stone disease rates are rising and more patients are presenting with stones in the urinary tract than ever before. To address the growing needs of stone patients, treatment methods have evolved to better achieve complete stone removal. For a segment of the stone patient population, the cost effective MIP System from KARL STORZ makes it possible to perform tubeless PCNLs in the outpatient setting.
This practice-oriented workshop offers the opportunity for surgeons to learn the foundational knowledge necessary to establish the MIP technique in their own operating rooms. Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their experience through interactive participation in the operating room and simulated procedure steps on models under the guidance of MIP experts. The small group size allows for individualized training for different experience levels.
