Daniel Rhee, M.D., M.P.H., pediatric surgeon and surgical director of the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Program at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, discusses neuroblastoma, a complex cancer that requires a multidisciplinary treatment team. Neuroblastoma is rare, with only 700–800 new cases diagnosed in the U.S. per year, but it is the most common solid tumor seen in children.
