Alexander Pazoki, D.D.S.,M.D.,F.A.C.S., Director of the Johns Hopkins Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry, and Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, presents the case of a 14-year-old boy who injured his jaw as a child and wasn't verbal or able to eat most solid foods. As the boy grew older, his lower jaw became locked in place, limiting his ability to open his jaw more than one centimeter.
