William Davis, III, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician. He speaks English and conversational Spanish.

Before joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Davis worked for the Musculoskeletal Institute at Duly Health and Care as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He served as the academic lead for Duly Health Care’s Sports Medicine group and as the head team physician and medical director for North Central College Athletics.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis is a faculty instructor at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Davis completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then completed his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital UHZ Sports Medicine Institute and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute.
By combining advanced techniques with compassionate care, Dr. Davis prioritizes whole-patient wellness. Committed to helping people return to the activities they love, he offers comprehensive support during all phases of nonsurgical, pre-op and post-op care.
