Newly popular obesity drugs like Ozempic® and Wegovy® are among several undergoing clinical trials at Mount Sinai for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, or NASH. If the trials are successful, they would fill an important gap, as no medications are currently approved by the FDA for the growing population with this disease.
