Thrombolysis and AngioVac in Trauma Patient with Multiple Blood Clots

22 year old trauma patient with a pretty significant brain injury. During his hospitalization he suffered a blood clot of his vena cava both iliac veins and his entire left leg down to his ankle. He couldn’t get blood thinners for the first few weeks due to his brain injury. Blood thinners were started 2 weeks ago and thrombolytics were put into his iliac veins and left humeral vein.  This video is of the checkup on the thrombolytics and use of the AngioVac device to clear the vena cava and the central veins in the iliac.
