In the landmark ISCHEMIA trial recently published in The New England Journal of Medicine, it was shown that an initial invasive strategy did not reduce the risk of ischemic cardiovascular events or death among patients with stable coronary disease, compared to an initial conservative strategy. In this presentation, Gregg Stone, MD, FACC, FSCAI, presents an overview of the study and then leads a discussion about four case studies. The panel evaluates potential treatments in the light of the ISCHEMIA trial.
