Patient Scenario: 50 year old man with bicuspid aortic valve disease develops severe symptomatic aortic stenosis.  Otherwise in good health. Echo reveals normal LV function and no other valvular disease except severe AS. Coronary angiography normal. No aortopathy was noted.
