Michael A. Masini, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has a special interest and training in total joint replacement and complex joint revision surgery, arthritis, and other orthopaedic conditions that affect older adults. He has been instrumental in starting the Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital Total Joint Registry, which provides pre- and post-surgical patient education and allows doctors to study the best treatments and implants for managing joint replacement surgery. Dr. Masini has several patents on medical devices, including hip and knee replacements and instrumentation systems. He currently serves as the orthopedic section head for the Department of Surgery at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital.
