Marcio Sommer Bittencourt, MD, PhD, MPH

Dr. Bittencourt earned his medical degree from Paraná’s Federal University, his Master of Public Health from Harvard University, and his doctoral degree from the University of São Paulo, earning his MPH and PhD after establishing himself as a practicing academic cardiologist. Following the completion of his medical degree, he completed his internal medicine residency and clinical cardiology fellowship at the University of São Paulo. Dr. Bittencourt completed additional training as a Visiting Fellow in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography at Friederich-Alexander Universitat in Erlangen, Germany and a Research Fellowship in Cardiovascular Imaging at Harvard University.
