Dr. Siddiqui is an assistant professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Director of Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist and board-certified urologist with a specialized practice in minimally invasive surgery and treatment of complex and advanced cancer cases. He completed his fellowship in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute, his residency training in urology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Harvard Medical School, his medical school training at Harvard Medical School, and his undergraduate education at MIT. He is a member of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center and works closely with an interdisciplinary cancer team to provide his patients with the best care possible.

 

Dr. Siddiqui has a broad interest in all urologic cancers, and a particularly strong interest in prostate cancer where he is a nationally recognized and funded researcher on the use of MRI to improve risk-stratification and personalize prostate cancer treatments. Dr. Siddiqui is also highly trained in advanced robotic surgery and performs a full range of procedures using this minimally invasive approach with faster recovery times.
