War on Shock: Updates in Pathophysiology and Management in Cardiogenic Shock

  • Identify cardiogenic shock using improved diagnostic skills so that appropriate preventive care can be implemented.
  • Follow recommended processes by SCAI Shock Staging tool in order to improve early patient identification
  • Implement improved audience management of the responsibilities of mechanical circulatory support, which will result in optimized care for patients with cardiogenic shock.
